8 months later...

Wow 8 months have gone by , quickly! In my last post I talk about the winter ending, now it is just around the corner.
Since then,
I have finished my third year at Concordia,
went to Disney world,
Turned 22, got diamond earrings!
Celebrated 4 years with Jon
Was the director of High Point Camp
My sister moved out
My brother is temporarily in Edmonton
Started my last year of school
Started internship at Dollard Seniors Club
Still working at SC
I broke my toe
I got Spice girls tickets for January
I booked a cruise for December.
Thats pretty much it!

goodbye winter!

FINALLY! the winter is over!!!!!
Im so happy, and soon school will be over!

updates:
the pharmacist at pharmaprix was very rude to me today.
a blade fell on my dads foot and cut through his sock! (hence the need for pharmacist)
mom is cleaning the house for passover.
sam is always at marvins.
jon and I are very excited for Disney!!
shopaholic and baby is a great book!

10 years??

I was just reading my InTouch magazine, and it showed a picture of Kate Winslet and Leonardo Dicaprio with a caption reading: 10 years since Titanic!
How can that be?
A whole decade since I first saw Titanic? When I think about it, I guess it makes sense considering I own it on VHS, then DVD, and now the collectors edition DVD. (with alternate ending!)

Im back

Hello!
SO much has happened in the last 2 weeks. For one, I had my breast reduction! Cant believe I did it finally. The doctor was so nice, and it went well. I see a huge difference, even though I am still swollen. My mom was with me all week, and a very good nurse. Yesterday I went back to work at the store, and was in lots of pain. Today was the same so I came home early. There is a sale at the store, but I have so much stuff there was nothing I wanted! weird.

Last Thursday was the end of the OC. This was very sad for me. It reminds me of how sad I was when 90210 ended. I really liked the finale though. They ended it with a lot of flashbacks and a look into the future. Well done!

I didn't go to school last Tuesday, so I have extended my spring break!

The night Before

Its the night before my surgery. I am going to dinner with Jon and my parents. I dont think I am nervous, everyone keeps asking me. The only thing I am worried about is something I saw in Nip/Tuck. They put someone to sleep, but she was actually still awake and felt everything. I know this is just TV though!

Love is on her cruise today. She already called me 3 times. She got the chocolate strawberries I had sent to her room. I think I am more excited than her and Marvin.

Taryn Jade

Just got off the phone with my friend Taryn in Florida.
I love talking to her, she's so funny.

2 things she said today made me laugh:

1- If they kill off Ryan I will sue the OC.
2- I don't go to water parks, their dirty. I only go in Ste. Agathe.

She got the Valentines Day card I sent, it had Sharebear on the cover and was purple.

We tried to discover what was a bigger deal, her being the president of her sorority, or me being the director of High Point, We decided they are both equally great.

Valentines Day

I had the best Valentine. Jon and went out to dinner to LaPerle, it was decorated so nicely with heart shaped balloons. Each couple got a rose. I was so happy because Jon made the reservation on his own. He says in the 4 years we have been together, he has never made a reservation.

During dinner, he told me what the special surprise was. He had arranged for a private dance lesson. I was shocked, it was a very nice surprise. We were actually pretty good. Jon led, and I was not very good at following. I was so happy that he planned all this on his own.
(we are still sad about pongo)

Tomorrow Love and Marvin are leaving to Florida, and on Sunday on a cruise. The same ship that Jon and I went on. Im jealous, I want to go again!

Ew Snow

There is a blizzard going on today. I wish I could be in Florida with Taryn!
Mike left today for 7 months, I hope his plane took off alright. I have one paper to write for Friday, and then I'm on vacation! (not so much a vacation, because I'm having surgery, but no school!)
Sad news: Jon's fish Pongo died. We are both very sad, so are Mimi and Frog. Pongo was three and a half, and lived at Hallas for three summers. We will miss him.

Tonight is Valentine's Day, and I cant wait to see what Jon planned!!!!!!

p.s. jon just came over with a huge bouquet of flowers!

Stressed!

I have so much to do, and so little time!
I have stuff due in all my classes, camp meetings, work, valentines day, and my surgery around the corner!
Jon is the best, he is going to help me with my essay on the health care system in Canada! (Ah!)
I wonder what we are doing for Valentines day, I don't care because I am so excited to go to Disney with him! (only 5 more months haha)
On top of all this, my brother is moving to Edmonton for 7 months, to be a forest ranger.
Thats all for now, got to go work and dream of Prison Break.

OC

Ok, so only 3 more episodes. I can't beleive this. I remember when it first started, I was still up north. I watched the first minute of the premier and almost closed the tv. And then the opening credits and song came on, and I thought, finally, a 90210 replacement. (not the same, but at least something).

So I was one of the only people I know, who watched from the beginning, and fell in love. The first season, was one of the most fantastic TV I ever saw. When Marissa died last year, I was in shock, and couldn't beleive it. Marissa and Ryan were my new Dylan and Kelly.

This season, I have to admit, there were some pretty bad episodes. I love the small things that they throw in that only avid watchers understand. Like when Frank said about Julie: were just from the same world. I loved that, it was like in season one from the Model Home episode, Ryan says to Marissa: you and me , were from different worlds.
Also loved this past episode when Summer in the flashback was singing Spice Girls!

All I can say is, I hope the Finale is GREAT!

Interviews

Oh boy, tonight I have my first camp interviews as director. I am both nervous and excited.
I hope it goes well!!

Can't wait for summer already!

More importantly, I am planning a trip to Disney World in June with Jon. He will get to meet Mickey!

Too cold out for me

Hello! I hate the winter. It is very cold out. I don't like to go outside, perfect day to stay in and scrap. Although its monday, which means school tomorrow, so I had to do some homework.
Can't wait to go and watch Prison Break!!
