my computer has really been acting up, and my internet is not really working. this is why I have no posted in a while.
Good news: jon and I have found an apartment! We went to Windsor, and loved it! While there, we saw Ringo Starr, was amazing. We found a really nice apartment in a new bulding, with 6 units, we are number 6. our adress is 902. ( perfect for a 90210 fan like me)

as for the bad news: I am very overwhelmed with packing, finding a job, and furnishing an apartment. We did find a really nice duvet set, and we went to Leons, and bought a matress, bedroom set, and couch. It will be delivered there.

One day soon, I will try to post some pictures from Banff and Calgary!

Welcome to Windsor

We made it! Took a total of ten hours.
We saw one place so far, and if we see nothing better, we will take it! Its the upper level of a duplex. the kitchen is the size of a closet, but everything else is good.

tonight we saw Ringo Starr! concert was amazing. it was in the casino. I could hardly keep my eye open, i was so tired, but it was great.

more apartment hunting tomorrow.

JUST HAPPENED!

Greetings from Banff!

We made it!
Almost missed the flight because we were strolling along. Got our car, its basically like a go cart! hahaha Jons kneese are at the steering wheel!
We rented a GPS with it, I almost threw it out the window, but then we got it to work properly.
We drove 1.5 hours to Banff, and its beautiful. Everywhere you look there are hige mountains. We went horseback riding, and we even went through water, was really fun. But then I couldnt walk! I was in so much pain, my knees were locked in place. weird.
Tomorrow we plan on canoeing in lake louise, going up in the gondola, and to hot springs.

Since I will be moving out, I get to buy all sorts of fun house hold items. (even though I should save my money for the essentials!)
So I went to my favorite kitchen store Ares, and bought these beautiful napkin rings! Of course that means that I need nice napkins, and need to invite over 8 people! (I don't know one person in Windsor)
and then I tried to take one of those really cool closeups like my scrapbooking friends know how to do, and this is what I came up with!Not quite the look I was going for, oh well.
I also went into the store Benix, and bought a glass chess set for 10$, I think on sale from 30. Jon and I like to play, so of course we NEEDED it.

my trip

Starting to pack for Calgary/Banff.
Here is the itinerary:

Arrive Tuesday in Calgary
Drive to Banff, stay there tuesday and wednesday night
Thursday drive back to Calgary, stay in my cousins hotel for free.
Wake up Friday and sing happy birthday to myself. Bring our rented car back to airport.
Get in new rental with my newly arrived parents.
Check in at fancy hotel where the wedding is.
See my brother who will be arriving from Nicaragua! and Start the wedding festivities.

Friday dinner, Saturday dinner, Sunday wedding, Monday Brunch. Return home Tuesday.
Did I mention the best part? My dress fits!!!!! I just hope I dont put back the weight in the next week. I went all over town looking for gold shoes, finally found a pair.
